Coconut Pecan icing


1 C evaporated milk
1 C sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 C butter or margarine
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens--about 12 minutes

Add 1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 C coconut 
1 C pecans

Beat by hand until frosting is cool and thick enough to spread.  Makes about 2 2/3 Cups
